DriveWise Holds Open house In Support of MADD

To raise public awareness of the importance of safe and sober driving especially in this festive season, DriveWise is holding an open house fundraiser in support of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). The open house will be held at the new DriveWise facilities at Unit A3, 237 Mapleview Ave. East in Barrie Ontario.

Visitors attending the open house will take a ride on the DriveWise High Tech Driving Simulator to first hand experience the affects of impaired driving skills. In addition to the virtual driving experience, raffles will be held for complimentary driver training courses, tickets to the Barrie Colts and Cineplex Odeon Theatre. All proceeds from the raffles will be donated to MADD.

The DriveWise facility is open to the public for free test-drives from December 9th at 1300 until December 18th at 1500. Daily facility hours are 0900-2100.

MEDIA INVITATION

Members of the media will have exclusive use of the DriveWise virtual reality simulator on Thursday, the 9th of December 2004 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
